Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team We foster positive energy and growth, we hire and grow team members who will support the business and clinical needs, and foster a strong team building culture. As a RDA, you'll work in an environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first. You will be surrounded by camaraderie and partnership -where continuous learning is encouraged You must be hard-working and motivated, and willing to bring passion in helping our team provide the best patient care to the communities we serve. We need a bright, friendly, positive, welcoming personality who easily gets along with others and naturally engages and connects with people. Applicant must be reliable, organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and willing to be cross trained as a receptionist

Responsibilities in the role:

•Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

•Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays)

•Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

•Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment

•Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth)

•Performing office management tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

•Providing excellent patient care and customer service

•Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dental office

Minimum Qualifications:

•Proven experience as a Dental Assistant

•Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

•Ability to work well in a team environment

•Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

•Certification in dental assisting

•CPR certification

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

High school or equivalent (Required)
