Job summary
The Campus Recreation lifeguard position is established to ensure the safety of our patrons and participants. This includes accident prevention in the water and surrounding deck areas by enforcing facility policies.Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of a lifeguard are facility supervision and maintenance.
Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to) educating guests on rules and regulations, following verbal and written directions, removal of safety hazards from facility, completion of required records, daily cleaning assignments, punctual attendance for shifts, communication with peers and faculty/staff, and required attendance at all in-service trainings.
