Job description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Fort Pierce, FL, offering a contract role within a school setting. The schedule is typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some variation depending on the specific schools needs. Caseloads will be determined based on the candidates experience and preferences, allowing for flexibility and alignment with professional strengths.Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student learning needs and challenges
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student success
Provide counseling and behavioral support services as needed
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determination
Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations regarding student psychological services
Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working within a school environment preferred
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills related to child and adolescent psychology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a flexible caseload based on individual expertise and preference
