- This is a new internship for the Institution, working with a team that is core to delivering strategic objectives and cross-functional imperatives of the 150 Forward Strategic Plan, and will serve primarily to advance support, and track projects and the impact of change.
- The Project and Change Management Intern will assist the PMO team in planning, managing, and executing new and cross-functional projects within a defined timeframe/scope and support the change management for stakeholders of these initiatives.
- The Project and Change Management Intern reports to the Project Coordinator to assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and establishment of systems and documentation.
- Conducting impact analyses to assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders, policy owners, and subject matter experts.
- Executing a structured methodology for change management and helping to create documentation for use by many stakeholders.
- Assist in creating, managing, and tracking project planning documentation, including but not limited to project schedules, change management plans, communication plans, and staff resource plans.
- Provide input and document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
- Help craft new policies and standard operating procedures related to data and business processes as necessary based on the organization's continued advancement of the 150 Forward Strategic Plan.

About the Referral Program
Chautauqua Institution's Referral Bonus Program is a talent solution to recruit, develop, and retain a diverse workforce that encompasses all the skills and experience necessary to deliver on our goals and objectives. Chautauqua Institution will provide a $500 referral bonus (less taxes) for active employees referring a new candidate who is hired and remains employed for at least 90-days from the first physical date of work. In the case of seasonal positions working less than 6-months, the new candidate must remain actively employed for at least 30-days from the first physical date of work and until the closing date of the season. The closing date of the season is the last Sunday in August.
About Your Schedule
The Project and Change Management Intern will work full-time June-August Monday-Friday from 9-5. An ideal candidate would be interested in continuing this work on a part-time basis beyond the summer season. Though unlikely, the schedule may include daytime and evening hours, weekdays, and weekends on very rare occasions. This position will be based in Chautauqua Institution's home office, located in Southwestern New York State.
