- Completes routine laboratory procedures of preparing various mammalian cell culture media and purification buffers following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
- Participate and closely work with process development scientists to develop and/or improve hydration procedures for complex cell culture media.
- Report results and maintains records utilizing electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).
- Routine maintenance of lab equipment. Calibrate balances and pH meters as needed.
- Track and document chemicals/media usage and inventory.
- Employs good housekeeping and maintains clean room to prevent contamination and integrity of production.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 0-1 year experience in laboratory settingRequired Skills and Experience

- Highly organized with a strong work ethic
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Discipline for maintaining the lab; promptness with addressing problems
- Ability and willingness to learn new lab techniques, adhere to all safety guidelines, and pick up/move up 25lbs.
- Perform duties with high safety and quality standards.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word, Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work in teams and collaborate with external partners
- Strong communication skills and a good team player.Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working with stainless steel mixing tanks and single use mixers (SUMs) is a plus.
