- Develop customer service skills with daily communication with end users through email, phone, and walk-ins.
- Creates, updates, and closes help desk cases in the ticketing system by evaluating the priority/severity of incoming requests and dispatching cases to appropriate personnel.
- Will work rotational assignments within the IT department, ensuring comprehensive exposure to all facets of Chief IT operations.
- Work with the department team on service requests and projects specific to the assigned team.
- Provide technical assistance to staff and customers on hardware and software-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
- Must be presently engaged in the pursuit of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.

Description
Chief Industries' Corporate Office is seeking an IT Intern to join the Chief team. This internship will perform hands-on support to the team's daily functions and will gain exposure to many IT disciplines. This position will also gain real customer service and communication skills by interacting with a diverse set of individuals from all Chief's division and subsidiaries. This position will require 20 minimum hours per week, with a review of status after 6 months, and requires in-office/onsite presence.
