Data
Engineer will help build and maintain the Data platform delivering a variety of Analytics use cases. As our first Senior Data E
ngineer , you will help build data infrastructure for the company and deliver significant long-lasting impact.
What You Will Do
Build and support data infrastructure that will enable the automation of processes across a variety of ingestion, transformation, and consumption methods.
Self-service consumption throughout the enterprise
Flexible querying and data visualizations
Operate at the intersection of upstream data producers and consumers to collaborate for successful analytical outcomes.
Create processes for monitoring and alerting for the health of data pipelines
Drive repeatability and automation of environment bring-up using solid IAC and containerization practices for data pipelines
Build terraform templates supporting DBT transformations as well as snowflake administration
Perform other job duties as assigned.
What You Have

In addition, this role requires:
Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other related majors, plus at least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering, with at least 3 years of that in a predominantly Azure environment.
Advanced SQL, Python. Experience with Snowflake/Databricks or similar cloud databases
Demonstrated experience developing data pipelines and related automations
Hands-on experience using DBT or similar transform tools building models and Airflow or similar orchestration tools for data workflows.
Expertise in DevOps tools and techniques to enable CI/CD of data pipelines. Hands-on Terraform experience preferred.
Have a Growth mindset, the ability to learn new skills and tools as the platform matures
Strong sense of ownership and ability to solve ambiguous problems independently.
Bonus:
Working knowledge of engineering best practices for privacy and security compliance with PII/
PHI:
HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
