Job Title:
IT Project Manager

Experience:13+ years

Contract:6+ months

Location:
Dakota Dunes, South Dakota all 5 days)

Responsibilities :
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively to achieve project milestones.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing issues or risks as they arise.
Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Facilitate regular project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-mortems.
Ensure compliance with project management best practices, methodologies, and standards.
Mentor and coach junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Drive innovation and process improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery and maximize business value.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
Solid technical background, with experience in software development, infrastructure, or other IT domains.
PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
Experience managing projects in diverse environments, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello.
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align project objectives with organizational goals.
