    Description

    Project Management Professional

    We are seeking an experienced project management professional to join our team. As a construction project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, designing, and constructing of town facilities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage design and construction projects for town improvements
    • Coordinate and collaborate with design entities, team members, and town staff
    • Review projects for regulatory compliance
    • Conduct field inspections to ensure pay applications are correct
    • Develop project schedules and milestones
    • Manage and create RFP's, RFQ's, Bid Documents, Records, Pay Applications, Construction Documents, Project Manuals, and other related documents
    • Supervise and participate in project planning
    • Meet and collaborate with various department representatives
    • Deliver reports, contract requests, and other items to stakeholders
    • Perform related tasks as required

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Requires graduation from high school, technical school, or possession of a GED and 5-7 years in professional construction, design, project management or an equivalent combination of experience and education
    • An associate or bachelor's degree related to engineering, architecture, or construction management is preferred
    • Valid NC Class C Driver's License
