    Position Information
    The College of Business at North Dakota State University seeks applications for a full-time (non-tenure track) lecturer in the Department of Transportation, Logistics, and Finance.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The normal teaching load will be 4/4, i.e., four 3-credit courses each semester during the regular academic year. This accounts for 80% of the individual's time. One course each semester will be a large session of FIN 320 Principles of Finance on campus. These two large sections will account for three courses for the lecturer. Other courses will be part of the Commercial Banking track and potentially Wealth Management. The position also has expectations for maintaining professional qualifications. In addition, the position has service expectations which include engaging with external industry stakeholders in the areas of Commercial Banking. This accounts for the other 20% of the individual's time.

    Salary

    $60,000+

    Minimum Qualifications

    Master's degree in finance from an AACSB-accredited institution. A Master of Business Administration degree from an AACSB-accredited institution is acceptable when combined with professional financial experience
    Candidates must meet faculty qualification standards for accreditation
    Must be willing to teach Commercial Banking courses and Wealth Management courses
    Must be willing to also teach finance courses online
    More than two years Professional experience in Commercial Banking
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Strong interpersonal skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    Evidence of high-quality university-level teaching in Finance through, for example, teaching evaluations and letters of recommendation

    Three or more years of professional experience in Commercial Banking
    Experience in Wealth Management a plus
