Description
Job DescriptionJob Description Salary:
$65k-$70k D.O.E
Encore Service Group was founded on the belief that healthcare and hospitality should go hand-in-hand, and it is our mission to make a lasting positive impression on every person we encounter.
We provide non-emergency medical transportation, shuttle services, valet parking, service excellence consulting and coaching, parking/garage management and welcome desk/concierge services.
We are currently seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and direct 4-5 of our Detroit market hospitals. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, energetic, and compassionate. They should be an outstanding communicator, have strong leadership skills and thrive in a team environment. Valet parking experience is preferred but not required.Position requirements
4-year college degree preferred, however, in lieu we will also consider "relevant" work history in parking and hospitality management.
Proficiency with Microsoft office products – word, excel, PowerPoint.
Extensive experience with budgeting, forecasting and P&L statements
Ability to manage and lead a team of more than 40 people
Ability to manage multiple departments that will fall under "parking".
MVR, Criminal Background and Drug Screen will be required.
Excellent work habits and willingness to work extended hours if requested to complete a job when required to meet deadlines
Must be able to work outside in inclement weather "if necessary"
All employees must maintain a well kempt and professional appearance
Duties and responsibilities
Work closely with client/facility management
Communicate effectively with both the client and the Corporate Office in a timely manner
Interview, hire, and develop new team members
Schedule shifts and verify time & attendance tracking
Control spending and keep expenses within approved budget
Ensures the facility and employees are operating in accordance with company policy at all hospital locations
