- Experience working in an ICU setting.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in a community hospital environment.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.

The Unit Director oversees and directs the operations of the 30-bed medical/surgical unit and the 8-bed ICU unit. This role ensures adherence to policies and procedures, maintains safe staffing levels, manages supplies and equipment, and facilitates efficient patient throughput. Additionally, the Unit Director is responsible for promoting ongoing quality improvement, ensuring staff competency, and fostering professional growth and development among team members. Effective communication with the unit Director and the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is essential.
