    Job Description

At the heart of our diverse community lies the Center for Caregiver Advancement (CCA). As California's foremost beacon of providing quality training programs for long-term care workers, we ardently foster an environment where every caregiver, regardless of background, feels embraced and empowered. Rooted in values of inclusivity and equity, our mission is to build the workforce of highly trained caregivers that many Californians can't live without.

Every day for the next 15 years, 10,000 turn 65. This transition not only signifies a new chapter in their lives but also emphasizes the profound need to nurture and grow our long-term care workforce, ensuring we rise compassionately to the occasion. Recognizing that a significant portion of our devoted direct care workers come from varied ethnicities and international origins, we are poised to meet these emerging needs, ensuring our caregivers are fully equipped to provide the utmost care.

Nestled within CCA the Home Care Program. This initiative stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and unity. Rooted in partnership, skilled nursing facility employers collaborate with SEIU Local 2015, creating a labor-management partnership founded on quality training. Together, our focus remains unwavering: to support training programs for workers across approximately 80 facilities statewide. Beyond training, we aim to ignite passions, foster dreams, and lay foundations for brighter futures. With classes and certifications, we ensure every caregiver is equipped with the tools to excel in their invaluable role.
