    At Piece by Piece Autism Centers, our mission is to bring high quality ABA therapy to communities that do not readily have access to services for children with autism.

    We are looking for energetic, creative, and dedicated staff to work one-on-one with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism. All necessary training will be provided upon hire and leads to Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

    We offer competitive pay starting at $18.00 based on experience and education.     Soft skills required for this job include: ability to work as part of a team, great communication, patience, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.

    ABA therapist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Providing a safe, organized environment for effective learning to occur
    • Teaching expressive and receptive communication skills through the use of applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior techniques as outlined in the client's daily lesson plan
    • Teaching daily living skills such as dressing, toileting, hand washing, toothbrushing, feeding, and other hygiene related tasks
    • Entering data on teaching trials and behavior goals into Catalyst, an iPad program
    • Following individualized behavior plans written by the client's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
    • Communicating with caregivers through objective, data driven notes
    • Upholding the Registered Behavior Technician Ethics Code
    Minimum requirements include:
    • A high school diploma or GED
    • Be at least 18 years of age (per BACB licensure requirements)
    • Clear background check
    • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (i.e. kneeling, sitting in both a chair and on the floor, squatting, standing, etc.) for extended periods of time
    • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
    Preferred skills include:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • Experience working with children, specifically children with special needs
    • RBT certification
    • CPR and First Aid certification
    • Safety Care training
