SUMMARY: As the largest pediatric clinic in Jacksonville, serving 11 locations with nearly 45,000 patients, Angel Kids Pediatrics believes that caring for children is a continual process, and should not limited to just doctor office visits during regular business hours. Angel Kids is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator, to join our team located at our corporate office Jacksonville.

A Community Outreach Marketing Coordinator acts as the bridge between an organization and the public. This role combines strategic marketing with boots-on-the-ground relationship building to increase brand awareness and drive engagement through community-led initiatives.

Job Summary

The Community Outreach Marketing Coordinator will develop and execute strategies to promote our mission and services within the local community. You will be responsible for identifying partnership opportunities, organizing events, and managing local marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience. This role requires a mix of creative communication, networking, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain longterm partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, schools, and community leaders.
• Event Coordination: Plan, promote, and execute community events, workshops, and tabling opportunities (both inperson and virtual).
• Content Strategy: Create localized marketing materials, including flyers, newsletters, and social media posts tailored to community interests.
• Public Speaking: Act as the "face" of the brand, delivering presentations and attending networking meetings to advocate for the organization.
• Data Analysis: Track the effectiveness of outreach efforts by monitoring lead generation, event attendance, and community sentiment; report findings to the marketing team.
• Volunteer Management: (If applicable) Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers to assist with community events and advocacy.

Category Requirements

Education: Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years in community outreach, event planning, or field marketing. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills.

Tools: Proficiency in CRM software (like Salesforce or HubSpot), social media platforms, and basic design tools (like Canva).

Attributes: Outgoing personality, high emotional intelligence, and a self-starter mindset.

Other Duties

Travel: Travel is primarily within the Jacksonville area during the business day between the 11 Angel Kids Pediatrics locations.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional medical office environment. This job also operates in a fast paced, highly customer service environment, working with Children and Family/ Guardian's. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones as well as medical equipment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties and responsibilities of Training manager, you will be required to stand, walk or sit for long hours. The employee must be able to occasionally move or lift at least 20 lbs. The employee must be able to communicate efficiently in front of large or small crowds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part time , non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work as needed.
