    Description

    Inspector II – C Shift

    Location: Huntsville, Alabama

    Compensation: $36.63/HR

    Schedule: 5AM - 5:30PM, Friday to Sunday (C Shift).

    Overview:

    We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Inspectors to join our team on a six-month contract basis. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance in our manufacturing processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform detailed inspections of structural, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and systems using CAD models and blueprints.
    • Verify assemblies for conformance with engineering requirements.
    • Document non-conformances in accordance with internal procedures and actively communicate to resolve quality issues.
    • Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
    • Ensure compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) awareness.
    • Perform damage characterizations, close-outs, first article, in-process, and final inspections, documenting all findings per industry standards (AS9102).
    • Must be capable of working at elevated heights and performing final photo documentation of hardware.

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality inspection or a related field.
    • Proficient knowledge of ESD compliance, torque specifications, and FOD prevention.
    • Ability to use precision measurement tools and understand technical documentation.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
