    What You Will Do

    The Technical Services Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technical staff, planning and
    implementing productivity, quality, and process improvements and execution of customizations and
    integrations. Under the direction of the Technical Services Manager, this position will play a key role
    in prioritizing projects, proper allocation of resources, and successfully liaising with other
    departments across Viewpoint. This is a "hands on" position that will require assisting with the
    provision of Spectrum customization and integration activities to find solutions for our clients. This
    position will be part-time billable. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent
    client communication skills, project management skills, problem solving and the ability to lead
    technical teams. A successful Supervisor must be action oriented, capable of independently solving
    complex technical problems and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and
    business audiences.
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities


    • Oversees the daily operations of the Spectrum Technical Services team.
    • Collaborates with other Supervisors and Business Analysts to manage Spectrum and related
    product case intake process.


    • Solution Spectrum customization and integrations requests and estimates related projects.
    • Identifies opportunities for improving customization methods and procedures and
    communicates recommendations appropriately.


    • Develops strong working relationships with peers across Viewpoint and other Trimble
    organizations to ensure successful cross-departmental collaboration.


    • Partners with the Technical Services Manager to set standards, priorities, and schedules.

    Directs the activities of assigned staff:

    • Oversees activities of individual contributors (i.e., hires, coaches, appraises, rewards,
    motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary).


    • Equitably assigns work ensuring growth opportunities and adequate cross training to
    support departmental health.


    • Collaborates with Project Managers to manage team to deadlines.
    • Supports individual contributors through the resolution of customer disputes, including
    communication with customers regarding project status, scope, and managing rework effort,
    as needed.


    • Carefully interprets and champions the application of policies and procedures.
    • Works with the Technical Services Manager to evaluate individual and team performance to
    determine if organizational objectives are being met. Advocates for process enhancements
    and changes, as appropriate.

    What Skills & Experience You Should Bring


    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant discipline plus a minimum of six years of
    experience in custom report or other technical development experience, and 3-5 years of
    experience successfully managing people. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, eight years of
    relevant technical experience and 3-5 years of managing people will qualify.


    • Experience in oversight of technical development projects, including report development.
    • Knowledge of MS SQL Server as well as Spectrum database structure and programming.
    • High level of customer support operations, practices, and principles. Excellent process
    planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, organization,
    and interpersonal skills.


    • Proven leadership and employee relations skills.
    • Understanding of general business and accounting principles and practices.
    • Skilled with various software applications.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with multiple ERP systems.
    • Experience integrating multiple software tools.
    • Knowledge of construction industry and construction accounting.
    • Familiar with Agile methodology.
    • Familiarity with MS SQL Server Integration Services.

    This will be a remote position supervising multiple people in multiple states. Travel is not required.
