    Job Title: Investment Operations Specialist at Sammons Financial Group

    What You Can Expect In This Role

    Manage cash matching activities and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate cash flows. Develop expertise in various investment vehicles like fixed income, equities, derivatives, and bank loans. Assist in audit reports and enhance operational efficiency with accounting and reporting teams. Optimize investment operations for financial data integrity.

    What You'll Do In This Role

    • Perform cash matching activities for accurate tracking of outgoing cash flows.
    • Conduct daily reconciliation processes to resolve discrepancies.
    • Efficiently batch trades for processing with precise transaction data.
    • Learn about fixed income, equities, derivatives, and bank loans.
    • Improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Resolve operational issues and maintain financial data integrity.
    • Utilize financial systems for precise execution of responsibilities.
    • Analyze operational data for reporting purposes supporting Investment Accounting teams.
    • Foster a collaborative work environment within the team and across departments.
    • Stay updated with industry practices and regulations through continuous education.
    • Embrace shared company values for a positive work culture.
    • Maintain regular attendance as per company policy for business service levels.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management preferred
    • Experience in bookkeeping, data entry, accounting, or financial reporting controls preferred
    • Analytical skills with attention to detail in financial transactions and reporting
    • Ability to efficiently resolve discrepancies and operational issues
    • Strong quantitative skills and capability to work in a team setting
    • Excellent communication skills for interactions within the team and with managers
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
    • Criminal background check required.
