    Peraton is searching for a talented Junior .Net Software Developer to become part of Peraton's Citizens Security & Public Services, State and Local Regional team supporting a contract with the State of West Virginia.

    This position will be located on a client site in Charleston, WV.

    • US CITIZENSHIP IS MANDATORY
    • This position is 100% ONSITE.
    • W2 ANNUAL WITH FULL BENEFITS
    • NO C2C OR 1099
    • SALARY: $50K TO $60K

    Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

    The Jr. .Net Software Developer will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

    • The Developer will need to write complex queries in MS SQL, support web-based application systems, be able to solve problems and have the ability to use MS Office Tools.
    • Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software with scrum and agile methodology.
    • Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the client and company.
    • Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer concerns.
    • Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch.
    • Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.
    • Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree and 0 years experience OR high school diploma/equivalent and 4 years experience
    • US Citizenship
    • Must have experience in software engineering to include using .Net, C++, PowerShell, MS SQL Server
    • Must have experience troubleshooting complex systems.
    • Experience working with web services, APIs,
    • Experience working with distributed, large scale, highly available systems
    • Possess the professional and technical skills necessary to perform .Net software development as part of an application development team.
