    Description

    TheInventory Control Associate 2 (Inventory Cycle Counter) is responsible for monitoring, maintaining inventory accuracy and moving materials within the warehouse utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. This individual will complete cycle counts and replenish pick locations. TheInventory Control Associate 2 (Inventory Cycle Counter) can be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, verification and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the Distribution Center.Both 1st and 2nd shift available.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Research inventory discrepancies, making sure to reconcile them, as well as ensure materials are in proper locations
    • Perform replenishments following proper process and escalate issues to leadership for resolution
    • Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials and other goods on a daily basis as assigned
    • Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits, reporting any discrepancies
    • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
    • Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, by hand or using MHE equipment
    • Must maintain a working environment that is safe for all employees and comply with any facility safety standards
    • Understand, support, and execute all work in a safe manner using the established procedures, methods and safe working requirements
    • Implements and maintains department policies and standards
    • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
    • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
    • Experience with MRP/ERP software required
    • Distribution Center experience required
    • Must have mobile equipment certification(s), including Reach Truck, Order Selector/Cherry Picker, and/or Turret Truck, or the ability to successfully pass a forklift operator certification course within 30 days
    • Working knowledge of computers, Oracle, WMS and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer, Manhattan SCALE) strongly preferred
    • Experience with RF scan gun
    • Inventory tracking software helpful
    • Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self
    • Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
    • Ability to either stand or sit for extended periods
    • Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop
    • Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands

    • Ability to sit and stand up to 20-70% of the time comfortably, with or without reasonable accommodation

    • Must be comfortable working in a complex production machining and assembly environment
    • The working area is primarily in a manufacturing environment located around machines and heavy equipment such as a forklift or pallet operator
    • Operation of the machine requires working with, and coming into contact with, various materials and substances.
    • Willingness to wear finger cots, masks, and/or safety vest
    • Working temperatures may vary from hot, cold, humid, wet or dry
    • Working hours may be extended and weekends may be required in order to meet manufacturing needs.
