This is a full time position located at the Chattaroy center of MLIH in Mingo County, WV.

POSITION PURPOSE:

This position is essential in order to properly maintain the facilities and grounds in order to provide a pleasant environment in which to serve the consumers. The employee should possess the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making pertaining to his/her job.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Consult with immediate supervisor to discuss tasks that need to be done then complete tasks.
2. Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies, and report to the immediate supervisor a list of those items needed at least a week before running out.
3. Make daily checks of lights, water faucets, etc.
4. Keep trash in proper containers and empty daily. Be able to meet all health and sanitation requirements on spot inspection.
5. Vacuum carpet, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, clean bathrooms, and clean windows and glass doors, etc. daily, weekly, or as needed.
6. Make repair recommendations to immediate supervisor.
7. Be available for emergency work if an issue arises.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent or extensive experience in the field. This position requires the employee to be trained in CPI yearly.
