    Radiance Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Modeling and Simulation Software Developer to join our team as we advance the state-of-the-art in Aerospace Modeling, Simulation and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

    The products that you develop will be used to improve our nation's capability by accurately modeling systems (including aircraft, weapons, sensors, and communications) and systems interactions used to develop AI by the US Air Force, Space Force, and Department of Defense.

    Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your technical skills as an integral part of an engineering design team to develop models, modeling frameworks, and AI integration? Your ability to interact, analyze, and translate customer requirements and processes will make you a key member of this model-based engineering team.

    You will not only be responsible for developing digital models but also the integration of these models with AI frameworks.

    Candidates will develop and integrate system models within the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM), developed and maintained by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
    • Experience in C++ or Python development
    • Experience using source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or Gitlab
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Self-motivated and able to work well within a team
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools
    • Experience with integrated development environments (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, etc.)
    • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
    Desired Qualifications * Experience using modeling and simulation tools

    • Experience with Agile software practices and usage of issue trackers like Jira and Gitlab
    • Experience in designing and developing Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) visualization tools and enhancements
    • Experience with SysML and Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools
    • Experience developing software in a Microsoft Windows environment
    • Experience developing software for Linux environments
    • Experience working with modeling and simulation tools, such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASE
    • Experience with CMake and developing cross platform software
    • Experience working with or supporting AI environments
    • Experience with developing and using Docker or similar containerized workflows
    • Experience with integration of projects into CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab runners
    • Familiarity with DoD security practices EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled
