    Description

    Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, provide technical support to enhance Mater Dei's educational technology program for students and staff.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Offer software and hardware assistance to staff
    • Conduct setups, installations, and configurations
    • Assist in maintaining the network
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
    • Aid in instructional material usage
    • Collaborate on hardware and software setups
    • Manage user access and network configurations
    • Support extracurricular activities and community programs
    • Maintain workspace cleanliness
    • Evaluate and recommend hardware/software purchases
    • Perform PC/Mac/Google/Android/Chrome operations
    • Repair and configure network equipment
    • Maintain accurate records
    • Follow instructions and establish cooperative relationships
    • Plan and execute tasks within deadlines
    • Ensure ethical data handling practices
    • Provide on-site assistance and maintenance
    • Support multimedia systems as needed
    • Experience utilizing JAMF to manage Apple devices

    ABILITY TO:

    • Troubleshoot and repair computer systems
    • Develop and update maintenance records
    • Work independently and communicate effectively
    • Prioritize tasks and respond to emergencies promptly

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
    • Technical school graduation or equivalent experience
    • Three years of Service Technician experience
    • Experience with Microsoft/Apple products
