    Job Description
    As a Vice President, Senior Event Planner you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events aimed at fostering connections, promoting our brand, and engaging with various stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities
    1. Event Planning and Management

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including conferences, seminars, networking events, client meetings, and fundraising initiatives.
    • Develop event timelines, budgets, and work plans to ensure successful execution.
    • Source and negotiate contracts with event venues, suppliers, and service providers.
    • Manage event logistics, such as registration, attendee lists, catering, audiovisual requirements, and transportation.
    • Oversee event setup, including branding, signage, and promotional materials.
    • Coordinate post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, analyzing metrics, and producing event reports.
    • Take ownership of event invitations and communication strategies, including crafting engaging and professional content, managing RSVPs, and maintaining accurate attendee listsTrack event metrics and proactively identify innovative event-related opportunities
    2. Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, industry professionals, hotels, restaurants and other third-party vendors.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align event strategies and objectives with overall branding and messaging goals.
    3. Event Budget Management
    • Develop and manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective planning
    • Monitor expenses, negotiate contracts, and track invoices to maintain accurate financial records.
    • Conduct post-event financial reconciliations and provide detailed reporting on expenditures.
    4. Travel
    • This role will require occasional travel to domestic and international locations to oversee and manage events
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in event planning, preferably within the financial services or professional services industry.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines without error.
    • Collaborative team player
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in event management software, such as Cvent and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
    • Ability to maintain professional, polished and with a positive disposition while under pressure.
    It is expected that the hourly rate for this New York City-based position will be $72. Actual pay may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
