    Vacancies will be filled in the following specialty areas:
    Wage and Investment Service Centers Cincinnati Accounts Management

    The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
  • Identifies potential and actual problems and probable causes. Researches a variety of issues, gathers
    pertinent statistics or information, reports findings to higher level employee, and may recommend corrective action for aspects of a program or function.
  • Monitors, reviews, and evaluates operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow,
    work redundancy, or systemic problems and report findings to higher level employee(s).
  • Verifies completeness and accuracy of controls to ensure compliance with established procedures and
    formats.
  • Revises procedures, controls, etc., as instructed by analyst(s) or comparable positions.
  • Drafts memoranda, preliminary reports, and charts showing findings or recommendations.
    • This position has career progression. If you are selected at a grade level lower than the full working level, you may be non-competitively promoted as your career progresses. For example, you may be hired as a GS-05, but if the position has career progression to GS-11, then you may move from a GS-05 to a GS-11 in as little as three years.
