    This position is on-site. Only applicants in the Greater Los Angeles Area will be considered.

    Los Angeles Apparel is a nearly fully vertically integrated garment manufacturing facility located in the heart of South Central Los Angeles.     Prepare garment markers in a production environment with strong attention to detail. This position will report directly to our Senior Marker Maker. This is a full time position that will require the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must have Tukatech Software knowledge and experience. Qualified applicants will be asked to come on site for testing.

    Duties & Responsibilities


    • The Junior Marker Maker prepares garment markers using Tukatech Software


    • Prepares markers for stock and special orders.


    • Rewinds and inspects markers in order to avoid errors.


    • Performs such similar, comparable or related duties and assist the Director of Cutting.


    • Strong attention to detail.


    • Present and maintain a professional behavior.


    • Perform other related duties as assigned.


    • Maintain clean and safe work environment

    Qualifications

    One year performing cutting duties in the garment manufacturing industry is required.


    • Must have experience using Tuka software


    • Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.


    • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office software applications.


    • Ability to work with people at all organizational levels, especially in a team environment.


    • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.


    • Persuasive, problem-solver.


    • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
