Epic Travel Staffing is Hiring a Travel RN - MS/ICU

Shift: Nights, 6:30p-6:30a, 12x3, 36hrs/week

Length: 13 Weeks

Holiday Requirements: Every Other or as Needed for Based on Unit Needs

Requirements:

NE License
2 Years' Experience
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Other Details: Will Float to All Inpatient Units, Excluding Maternity/NICU

Charting System: EPIC

Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU

Common Diagnoses/Types of Patients: Adults and Peds >15 Years Old, Neuro Surgery (Initiating Neuro Interventionalist with Thrombectomy Program) - Not Required Exp., Respiratory Failure, ARDS, MODS, Sepsis, Stroke, Cardiogenic Shock (Impella, Balloon Pump - Not Required Exp.), Renal Failure (CRRT) - Not Required Exp., General Surgery, Psych/OD, GI Bleeds, Cancer Specific Surgeries - Esophagectomy, Internal Chemo Administration, CVPs, Alines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP Monitoring- All Can Train Real Time, Zoll-Thermoguard for Hypothermia Protocol, Bell Mont Rapid Transfuser

Description:

As an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) travel nurse, you will provide critical care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. Your skills will be utilized in various ICU settings such as neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU, or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU). You will deliver progress updates and support to patients and/or their family.
