    ResponsibilitiesAs a valued member of our team, you will:Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team.

    W ork in collaboration with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols , and clinical pathways, and may provide autonomous team-based care.

    Obtain medical histories, performs physical examinations, reviews/orders diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results,formulates and manages patient treatment plans.
    The APP will educate patients and families on care and available resources, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team . This includes admitting instructions, treatment plans, potential side effects, and discharge plans.

    The APP , as part of a inter disciplinary team, provides psychosocial support to patients, their family members, and significant others in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.

    Qualifications
    EDUCATIONGraduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or an accredited Physician Assistant Program
    EXPERIENCEExperience in Electrophysiology, General Cardiology, and/or Internal Medicine Preferred
    Active, unrestricted CT medical license or in process of obtaining
    ACLS/BLS (as required ) Certification
    DEA License

    Position Overview
    Prefer prior working experience in Electrophysiology, General Cardiology and/ or hospital-based medicine.

    Candidate will join an experienced group of providers who care for in/outpatients with electrophysiology needs and has the opportunity for procedural work within the hospital.

    Possibility of flex schedule will be considered (4 10's vs 5 8's). Will require some traveling between offices during work week.
