    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

    As a part-time or full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you provide hands-on care to senior/elderly patients so that they can remain in the comfort of their homes. You provide each patient with individualized medical care and support and treat them with genuine respect and kindness. The care you provide is always in accordance with service plans, state/federal regulations, and agency policies. The dedicated care you provide gives primary caregivers peace of mind and some freedom in their own lives.

    Your positive attitude makes a huge impact in the lives of our patients as you check their vital signs and assist them with feeding, turning/moving, daily activities, and other general basic care. And, your patients know that they can depend on you to provide a safe and sanitary environment. You observe, report, and document changes and any concerns you may have. You pride yourself on your accurate record-keeping and respect for our patients' privacy.

    Some aspects of this job are not easily accomplished, but the reward of happy patients is definitely worth the effort. Through the strong personal relationships you have built, you have come to see your patients as family and sympathize in their sorrows and rejoice in their happiness. Seeing your patients smile from the guidance, care, and compassion you show to them is priceless. You enjoy being able to make a difference in this home care position.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Certified Nursing Assistant, currently certified in the state of Tennessee
    • At least 1 year of experience
    • Valid driver's license
    • Current CPR Card and TB Screening
    • Physical ability to lift and move patients
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
