    Job Title: Contracted Registered Nurse (RN)

    Location: Elgin, TX

    Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (Remainder of School Year)

    Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? We have an immediate opening for a Contracted RN to join our team in Elgin, TX, on a full-time basis for the remainder of the school year.

    Position Overview: As a Contracted RN, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services and support to students within our school district. You will work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to promote the health and well-being of students and ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct nursing care and assessment to students with diverse healthcare needs.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
    • Monitor and manage student health conditions, including chronic illnesses and acute injuries.
    • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specialized needs.
    • Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and preventive measures.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.

    Requirements:

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
    • CPR certification and current immunization records.
    • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
    • Strong assessment and clinical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Immediate availability to start and commit to the remainder of the school year.
