Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 2 days/week on-site, 3 days/week remote)

The National Council States Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is an independent, not-for-profit organization through which nursing regulatory bodies act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting public health, safety and welfare, including the development of nursing licensure examinations.

As a marketing coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Marketing team in planning, executing and monitoring various marketing initiatives.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of multitasking in a dynamic work environment.
The Coordinator, Marketing & Advocacy will report to the Marketing & Advocacy Director and work closely with the marketing team to ensure successful implementation of brand, campaigns and strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Coordination:
assists in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels. Coordinates tasks, timelines, deliverables.
Ideation and Materials Development:
helps create engaging and compelling marketing material. Ensures consistency in messaging and branding across channels. Assists in the production of written and visual content.
Social Media Assistance:
collaborates with the social media team to develop and implement social media campaigns.
Event Coordination:
assists in planning and coordinating marketing events, trade shows, and sponsorships. Works with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful event execution.
Analytics and Reporting:
compiles and analyzes marketing data, and generates reports.
Department Administration:
assists the Marketing Director with administrative tasks, streamlines processes, maintains documentation, and contributes to the overall efficiency of the department.
Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
At least 1-year proven experience in a marketing role or coordination position.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management tools, analytics tools).
Familiarity with basic design principles and tools is a plus (Adobe Creative Suite -Photoshop, etc.).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
Creative thinker with the ability to contribute innovative ideas.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to problem-solve and find solutions.
Experience with content management systems a plus (OpenText).
