Description

Find your calling at MercyUtilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct.

• $5.00/hrfor RNs without
  ICU experience
• $7.50/hrfor RNs with
  ICU experienceShift Differentials(Evening/Night)

Weekend Option Differential—$20/hr RN
Student Loan Forgiveness— Up to$20,000for new grad nurses
Tuition Reimbursement— Up to$2,000 per year

Float Pool RNs rotate across the following units:
Emergency Department

ICU
Cardiac Telemetry
Medical-Surgical - (Adults)
Medical-Surgical - (Adults & Peds)

• QualificationsEducation:

Graduate of an accredited RN program

Licensure:
Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements)

Experience:1+ year RN experience preferred

Certifications:
BLS(Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire
Depending on assignment, may also require:ACLS(Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

PALS(Pediatric Advanced Life Support)Physical Requirements:
Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly
