Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Shift: Days, 6:30a-5p, 10x4, 40hrs per week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
6 call shifts in a 8 week schedule period
one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
Requirements:
Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: 16- Bed Operating Room with a variety of surgical specialties including General, Urology, Robotics, Colo-Rectal, Endo, Neuro, Gyn, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Total Joints, Plastics, Vascular and Open Heart. Vascular and Open Heart skills not required as these specialties have their own teams. Case Cart, Scrub, High Level Disinfection and Aseptic technique required; Equipment required DaVinci XI, Stryker Endoscopy, Olympus Urology, Depuy/Synthes Ortho and Zimmer Biomet Ortho
Ratio / Census: 16 Rooms; Daily Case Volume around 35

Scrub Color: Scrubs provided by facilityWeekends: Every other weekend
Floating: Possibly within facility, but rare
Call Requirements: Yes; 6 call shifts in a 8 week schedule period
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
