    Description
    Responsible for greeting patients; check-in, check-out, scheduling and managing telephones and messages. Collects and posts co-pays, deductibles and past due patient balances at the time of service.


    Reports to:
    Market Practice Manager

    Checks patients in and completes the intake process to include insurance verification and updating demographic information.
    Drag Edit DeleteCollects appropriate co-pays and communicates any financial liability to the patient.
    Drag Edit DeleteOrganizes and sets up appointments for some of the providers as needed. Follows up on special function needs.
    Drag Edit DeletePerforms electronic chart pre-load process. Also scans documents to the patient electronic chart.

    Minimum Education
    High school diploma or equivalent requiredDrag Edit Delete
    Required Skills
    Promotes a team-oriented atmosphere and takes initiative in maintaining a tidy and safe clinical environmentDrag Edit Delete
    Minimum Work Experience
    One year experience in a medical clinic; preferably in Family Practice or Specialty Clinic - PreferredDrag Edit Delete
    Required Skills

    Certifications:
    Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire
