    SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

    We have partnered with a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of work. The company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization's overall financial operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Reconcile and maintain the general ledger, including posting journal entries and reviewing accounts.
    • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing analysis and recommendations to help control costs.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and assist in annual financial audits and compliance reviews.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as needed

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 4+ years of experience in a related role, non-profit industry experience preferred
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
