Description
INIT Innovations in Transportation, Inc. is an established and industry-leading provider of advanced management systems for public transit. This position is responsible for working closely with the international sales team to provide pre-sales support. The position is based out of our North American headquarters (Hybrid) in Chesapeake, VA.Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare proposal response structure and drafts for completion by Subject Matter ExpertsWork closely with the Proposal Managers and Proposal Team to coordinate the proposal responsesComplete assigned proposal documents and other proposal related tasksLead DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises)
Outreach EffortsAdministrate FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) RequestsAdministrate NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreements) Agreements with subcontractorsUpdate Sales Lists and Standard DocumentsHandle Spare Parts price requests and process ordersQualifications:
Detail oriented with superb organizational skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent work ethic and self-starterWork independently with minimal supervisionCoordinate multiple simultaneous projects and meet critical deadlinesEffectively collaborate with multi-department teams to meet goalsExperience:1-3 years of technical sales or sales supportBachelor degree in a technical or business discipline preferredAdvanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and WordFamiliarity with government agencies and the RFP selling cycle a plusKnowledge of the public transit industry ideal
