    *Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech – Sign-On Bonus
    • Here, you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. This is a close-knit catheterization lab where collaboration and teamwork are celebrated and that offers state-of-the-art catheterization lab technology and medical devices. The cardiac sonographer works under the direction of the director/cardiodiagnostics supervisor. You will perform routine and specialized echocardiographic studies inclusive of stress lab procedures. This position is eligible to receive a sign-on bonus The schedule for this position is approximately four 10-hour shifts Monday through Sunday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. On-call will be required for this position (an average of 10 days per month). Education:
      Post-high school special training Licensure/Certification/Registration: Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonographer program
    • Registry-eligible at the time of hire
    • RDCS or RCS credentialing must be obtained within 12 months of hire date
    • BLS
    • ACLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/

    Experience Required:

    • One year of experience preferred.

    UF Health Leesburg Hospital has been serving the health care needs of our community for 58 years. The hospital offers advanced cardiac care, including one of the largest cardiothoracic surgery programs in the state.

    The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain by awarding a Chest Pain Center accreditation with Primacy PCI and Resuscitation—its highest and best level of accreditation.

    UF Health Leesburg Hospital also offers advanced orthopedic surgery, stroke care, emergency services and labor and delivery care.

    The hospital is part of UF Health Central Florida, a not-for-profit health care system and the largest, most comprehensive provider of health care services in the region.

    UF Health Central Florida provides inpatient acute hospital services at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and UF Health The Villages Hospital, inpatient rehabilitation services at UF Health Rehab Hospital – The Villages, and diagnostic laboratory services at several locations.
