    Job Description Job Description Perform APQP process in-order to identify risk and mitigating risk using tools such as PFD, PFMEA and CPCollaborate with stakeholders
    • Present recommendation for risk mitigationTrack the recommendations from inception till the implementation and their resultsParticipates in design and product reviews to ensure that producibility, inspect ability, reliability,safety, Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are metPerforms such research as benchmarking to industry standards; analyzes and compiles performance reports and process control statistics to determine and improve process capability or product qualityPerforms root cause analysesRecommends and supports the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate nonconformance to design specificationsInterfaces with company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirementsDevelops and uses statistical methodologies to ensure that specified levels of safety, reliability, and process capability are achieved, maintained, or improvedEnsure that suppliers manufacturing, quality system, special processes, and products meet purchase contract requirements, customer requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations.

    Ensures that suppliers document and maintain an approved Quality System to meet the appropriate company or customer requirementsThis requires planning, organization, and conduction of audits, surveys, and inspections of supplier.

    Represents the company with suppliers. Ensures that suppliers document and maintain an approved Quality System to meet the appropriate company or customer requirements.
    Create Control Plans for suppliers and work to keep them on track.


    Requirements:
    2+ years of related experience is requiredA Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program is requiredA full spectrum leader with demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams Demonstrated ability to:Ensure Risk Management activities (APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA) are executed according to standards and proceduresEnsure program contract requirements are flowed down internally and to suppliers, ensures compliance with contract program, quality, organizational, and industry alert requirementsExperience representing Quality Assurance at different program reviews and review boardsincluding Program Configuration Control Board (PCCB), Program Corrective Action Board(PCAB) and Material Review Board (MRB)

    Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of related experience (preferably in Aerospace or equivalent manufacturing industry)

    Review and approve design documentation (Qualification Reports, Drawings, ATPs, BOMs, etc.)Ability to review and approve production documentation (assembly instructions, MOs and rework instructions) Knowledge of:

    Automated Manufacturing Systems (AMS) RCAA tools like 8D, 5-Why Analysis, Casual Tree Analysis, and data analysis Six Sigma, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC (within APQP / PPAP) would be an advantage AS9100 as well as regulatory authority approval and certification requirementsExcellent communication and PowerPoint presentation skillsA good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages Outlook, Word, Excel, and AccessWorking familiarity of Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP)Lean and six sigma certificationCompetent in Root Cause Corrective Action and ability to perform conformity checks.

    Strong ability to read drawings, procedures, First Article Inspections (FAI) and understand contracts.
