Position Summary

Ashbourne Enterprises is seeking a Head of Finance and Business Analytics to lead enterprise-wide financial intelligence, reporting, and analytical infrastructure. This is a strategic, high-trust role responsible for building scalable financial systems, delivering actionable insights, and supporting executive decision-making across multiple operating entities.

This leader will develop integrated financial reporting, forecasting, and operational analytics to drive margin expansion, strengthen cash discipline, and enable informed, data-driven growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain real-time financial dashboards for labor, margins, inventory, and cash performance.
• Lead monthly close and full-cycle financial reporting across all entities.
• Maintain dual reporting frameworks supporting both compliance and operational decision-making.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Modeling

• Develop and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and breakeven analyses.
• Build unit-level financial models and partner with department leaders to align financial plans with operational strategy.

Systems, Controls & Infrastructure

• Establish and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and compliance processes.
• Lead Sage Intacct reporting, consolidations, allocations, and integrations.
• Integrate operational systems including POS (Reveal), payroll (Paycor), and inventory (InFlow) to create a unified financial source of truth.
• Develop allocation methodologies and intercompany financial structures.

Strategic Finance & Leadership Partnership

• Partner with executive leadership on capital planning, tax strategy, estate planning, and risk management.
• Coordinate with external partners, including CPA and advisory firms.
• Deliver executive-level reporting and strategic financial recommendations.

Entity Oversight & Operational Optimization

• Oversee financial reporting across hospitality, retail, agriculture, real estate, and investment entities.
• Manage intercompany activity, cash flow, working capital, and reserves.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce complexity, and strengthen financial performance.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Advanced education or specialization in financial planning and analysis preferred.

Experience

• 5–10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in multi-entity environments.
• Experience leading financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting functions.
• Sage Intacct expertise required, including multi-entity reporting and dashboard development.
• Strong technical and systems integration experience.
• CPA or experience working closely with CPA firms preferred.
• Experience building financial infrastructure, automation, and scalable reporting systems preferred.
• Industry experience in hospitality, agriculture, retail, or similar sectors preferred.
• Primarily in-office role during standard business hours, with occasional extended hours as needed.
• Local travel between Jefferson and Oldham County locations required.
• Prolonged computer use and standard office physical requirements.
• Occasional lifting of office materials up to 25 pounds.
