    Role Overview:

    Software Engineering Senior AdvisorOur development team is seeking a Senior Level Drupal Developer who is proficient in Drupal theming, site building, and/or backend development.

    Ideal skills include PHP, Javascript/jQuery, and HTML/CSS/Twig templating.

    The ideal candidate would be active in the Drupal community, contributing back to the Drupal code base via patches, contributed modules, or themes.


    Skills & Experience:
    8+ years' Drupal knowledge and experienceBuilding, extending, and configuring Drupal sites using core and contrib modulesCreating custom modulesAbility to theme Drupal sites using TWIG, and/or using JS and CSS for decoupled implementationsAbility to leverage and extend front-end pattern libraries if neededDevelop performant mobile-first experiencesStrong background in PHP and MySQLExperience working with Drupal distributionsFull Drupal deployment experience: installation, configuration, and productionWeb accessibility guidelines knowledgeExperience working collaboratively using version control (Git)

    Ability to prioritize shifting initiativesStrong communication skills and problem-solving skillsAgile and Scrum experienceDeveloping traditional and decoupled experiencesExperience in automated testingAdditional preferred skills:
    Interest or experience in security (pentesting, identifying and remediating security issues, etc.)


    Quality Assurance (QA) testing and automation experience (unit testing, functional testing, CI/CD testing automation, etc.)Performance optimization and/or testing experience (Lighthouse testing, reverse caching proxy configuration, Redis, Memcached, etc.)

    Acquia and/or AWS experience is a plusDrupal or Symfony Certifications preferredAn active player in the open source community (high level of commitment and contribution)Experience with front-end build toolsFamiliarity with Atlassian tools like Jira and ConfluenceKnowledge of GraphQLYou love opensource and have a history contributing to open source projects Education & Certifications:4 Year degree preferred but not requiredDrupal or Symfony Certifications preferred but not requiredLocation and Schedule:This role is fully remote and open to candidates within the US;Open to time zoneAvailability for 11 am Central time zone meetingsOff hours may be required, on occasionHourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

    The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is:
    $54.00-$73.00/hrBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met)
