    We are Safebox Technology, a growing South Florida Managed IT Services provider located in Marco Island, Florida. We are looking for a rock star IT Systems Engineer to join our team. Then this may be the perfect job for you As a IT Systems Engineer you will be solving problems in diverse environments including: Microsoft 365, Azure, modern Windows Server Infrastructure components, networking (routers/switches/etc.), security solutions (VPN's, firewalls, MFA, SSO, etc.), backup systems, mobile devices, and more.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Documenting client IT environments
    • Creating and maintaining processes and procedures for issue resolution, including automation/scripting when possible
    • Providing remote or onsite escalation support for technical services help desk incidents and implementations, including directing service technicians onsite as "smart hands" assistants
    • Managing small to medium-sized projects, including planning, development, and execution, with ongoing communication of status updates to the project manager
    • Deploying, configuring, and testing Windows servers
    • Migrating customer environments to Microsoft Azure and 365 services, including server roles, applications, and data
    • Deploying, configuring, and operating Azure and network services, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
    • Configuring network infrastructure for Microsoft Teams deployments
    • Setting up and configuring desktop deployment infrastructure (MDT)
    • Implementing and testing Microsoft Identity and Security Solutions
    • Local server deployment and administrationexperience with Windows Server preferred
    • Managing file, print, and other services
    • Handling access, group, and user policy management
    • Administering enterprise email solutions, including user management and email forwarding
    • Performing scheduled maintenance for clients on servers and infrastructure
    • Developing scripts for repeatable processes using Microsoft PowerShell

    Required Technical Skills

    • Profound knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
    • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and troubleshooting internet connectivity issues
    • Expertise in Unifi switches, access points, and firewalls
    • Proven experience supporting clients on remote desktop solutions
    • Extensive experience with mobile technologies, including Apple iOS and Google Android
    • Skilled in using Microsoft Intune for mobile device management
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365 desktop applications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and speed in typing, grammar, and vocabulary

    Additional Requirements:

    • Occasionally lifting laptops/desktop computers and printers; on rare occasions, moving heavier equipment (large printers, servers, or desks) may be required, necessitating a team lift.
    • Setting client expectations and communicating appropriately, utilizing central resources for scheduling and quotations
    • Taking proactive ownership of tasks and seeing them through to resolution
    • Upholding personal responsibility for the quality of work performed or associated with
    • Paying close attention to detail while performing technically complex tasks
    • Managing stressful situations effectively
    • Contributing to team success by sharing information and training service technicians
    • Providing accurate time estimates both internally and externally
    • Quickly adapting to new technologies
    • Clearly and simply articulating technical information to non-technical stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
    • At least 5 years of server and networking experience
    • IT certifications are strongly preferred
    • Previous MSP experience is a strong plus
    • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Understanding of data privacy and security protocols
    • Possession of a valid Florida driver's license and a clean record
