    About the Role & Team

    We are seeking a Team Lead of Gaming Finance Operations who will support and manage the day-to-day accounting, and reporting activities for the online sports betting and casino business. In this role, the individual will be a key contributor in the accounting and regulatory reporting process and will support the continuous improvement of processes and growth of each business.     About the Work

    • Compile and review revenue and gaming tax reports to state gaming regulators and state departments of revenue.
    • Compile and review daily revenue reports detailing the performance of online sportsbook and casino to PENN Interactive leadership team.
    • Ensure regulatory requirements are met across all operational states, including, but not limited to, minimum reserve requirements, tax reporting, and payments.
    • Approve and reconcile GL entries as required for month-end
    • Comply with all accounting and financial reporting internal controls as required by internal policy as well as outside agencies and governing bodies.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with casino property accounting & finance teams to support the accounting and administrative functions of online sports betting and casino operations.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
    • Enthusiastically support, actively promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
    • Assist with other ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    About You
    • Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related major
    • Must have at least 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
    • Must have intermediate computer knowledge; MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
    • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries from state regulatory agencies.
    • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
    • Must have the ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
    • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
