- Compile and review revenue and gaming tax reports to state gaming regulators and state departments of revenue.
- Compile and review daily revenue reports detailing the performance of online sportsbook and casino to PENN Interactive leadership team.
- Ensure regulatory requirements are met across all operational states, including, but not limited to, minimum reserve requirements, tax reporting, and payments.
- Approve and reconcile GL entries as required for month-end
- Comply with all accounting and financial reporting internal controls as required by internal policy as well as outside agencies and governing bodies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with casino property accounting & finance teams to support the accounting and administrative functions of online sports betting and casino operations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- Enthusiastically support, actively promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Assist with other ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related major
- Must have at least 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Must have intermediate computer knowledge; MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries from state regulatory agencies.
- Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Must have the ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
