    Are you skilled in maintaining high-speed packaging equipment? Join our dynamic team as a Packaging Equipment Maintenance Technician This role is crucial for ensuring smooth production operations by repairing and maintaining all packaging and support equipment.

    *Overview: Support production operations by repairing and maintaining high-speed packaging equipment and support systems.

    *Responsibilities: * *Troubleshoot & Repair:
    • Fix high-speed packaging equipment and manufacturing machinery to ensure seamless operations. (60%)

    * *Equipment Changeover:
    • Adjust and changeover packaging equipment as required by the production schedule. (15%)

    * *Preventive Maintenance:
    • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and calibrations on all packaging, manufacturing, and support equipment. (10%)

    * *Work Orders:
    • Create work orders in the CMMS for completed repairs and adjustments to equipment.

    * *Purchase Requisitions:
    • Initiate purchase requisitions for materials needed for repairs or consumed during maintenance activities.

    * *Documentation:
    • Complete all required documentation to maintain GMP compliance, including work order completion and training records.

    * *Technical Reading:
    • Read and interpret machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical schematics for troubleshooting and repair purposes.

    * *Corrective Actions:
    • Assist in the creation of corrective actions for equipment-related non-conformances. (5%)

    * *Line Improvements:
    • Develop and implement line improvement ideas to increase efficiency and reduce labor costs. (5%)

    * *Equipment Modifications:
    • Perform approved modifications to the packaging equipment.

    * *Technical Support:
    • Provide technical support for packaging equipment qualification protocols. (5%)

    * *Effective Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with employees, management, vendors, and contractors.

    * *Training Support:
    • Assist in training packaging and manufacturing staff to be proficient with the setup and operation of packaging and manufacturing equipment.
    *Additional Responsibilities:
    • Perform other miscellaneous job duties as assigned by department management.
    • Travel may be required to support equipment repairs or new equipment acceptance testing.
    *Qualifications: * *Education:
    • High School diploma or equivalent; technical school or equivalent military experience is preferred.
    * *Experience:* 5+ years of direct experience troubleshooting and maintaining high-speed packaging equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLC) and hardwired relay logic systems. Experience in metal fabrication is preferred but not required.
    * *Skills:
    • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing high-speed packaging equipment. Excellent analytical skills and working knowledge of electrical, computer, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Must be able to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
