Job summary
Assesses determines and coordinates placement of all transfers in accordance with clinical standards and guidelines ensures patient are placed in clinically appropriate level of care via established nursing exclusions coordinates all communication between transfer parties to ensure a timely seamless and safe patient transfers requires knowledge of specialty services offered EMTALA regulations transfer center processes and exceptional customer service skills.
