- Provide administrative support to the trauma operation team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining documentation related to trauma patient care, treatment plans, and procedures.
- Coordinate communication between medical staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in trauma patient care.
- Help ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to support the trauma operation team's activities.
- Help coordinate training sessions and educational programs for staff members on trauma care protocols and best practices.
- Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance trauma care services.
- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment used in trauma operations, placing orders as necessary.
- Coordinates on-call services across the continuum of trauma care and is responsible for distributing them across the hospital.
- Acts as onsite Coordinator at Danbury Hospital for the Trauma Survivors Network and maintains trauma survivor network.
- Actively participates in the post-traumatic screening program that includes data collection and patient screening.
