    Description Summary:
    The Demand Planner is responsible for key information flows within the SIOP process.

    They will create statistical models, adapt forecasts to include market-facing information, and develop operational models to plan production and inventory.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Take on key roles to develop the SIOP tools, cadence, and process for Profile Products Develop statistical forecast for each product line by market segment as a feed to the sales consensus phase of the SIOP cadence.

    Lead consensus discussions with sales resources, incorporating market information to the forecast.

    Present and help translate the sales forecast during the Sales Consensus meeting; identifying gaps to budget, and various points of discussion for sales and product leaders.

    Translating final approved sales consensus to operation models for each facility to predict labor, materials, and machine capacity needs.

    Lead supply consensus calls, reviewing prediction models with site leadership and developing inventory targets for the month to guide production activities.

    Develop accuracy models to identify areas of improvement for each step in the process, guiding development to the most critical opportunities.

    Work as part of the SIOP team to install this as the key operational process for the organization.


    Position Requirements Qualifications/Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or adjacent discipline; or equivalent experience. Lean/CI Green Belt preferred Experience with forecasting, SIOP, S&OP, or IBP preferred. Command of Excel tools at an intermediate to advanced level. Ability to organize, display, and interpret large groups of data, translating at a summarized level. Experience in an operations/planning role with 5+ years of experience. Strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong leadership, ability to engage people and help teach and ensure participation in forecasting activities. Fact-based analysis and reporting skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.


    Desired Skills:
    Strong skills in data analytics, interpretation of trends, and summarizing results. Owns a robust data toolkit and can help others understand the bigger picture. Ability to lead others through change and implementation. Role is flexible in location. 5-10% travel will be required for training and developing systems.

    Excellent written and spoken communication skills that provide insight and influence at all levels from business leaders to shop floor associates.
