    The IT Support Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.

    The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Windows operating systems and Dell products, as well as a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.

    This is a hands-on role that requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.

    *Key Responsibilities:
    * *Operating System Installation:
    • Perform clean installations, upgrades, and migrations of various Windows operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows 7, and Windows XP, on both laptop and desktop computers.
    * *Hardware and

    Software Support:

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users. This includes component replacement, driver updates, and application support.

    * *Dell Product Expertise:
    • Provide specialized support for Dell computers and laptops. This includes familiarity with various Dell models, their components, and Dell-specific software and diagnostic tools.

    * *Dell OS Recovery:
    • Regularly utilize and expertly navigate the Dell OS Recovery II tool for system restoration, re-imaging, and data recovery tasks.

    * *Cybersecurity Awareness:
    • Apply fundamental cybersecurity knowledge to ensure systems are secure. This includes installing and updating antivirus software, managing user accounts, and implementing security best practices.

    * *Asset Management:
    • Accurately document all work performed, including system configurations, software licenses, and hardware inventory.

    * *Project Management:
    • Work collaboratively within a project-based environment to achieve specific goals and deadlines. Communicate progress and potential roadblocks to the project lead.
    *Required Qualifications & Skills:

    • Proven experience in installing and configuring Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows 7, and Windows XP on both desktops and laptops.
    • Strong, hands-on knowledge of Dell computers and laptops, including troubleshooting and component-level repair.
    • Extensive experience with Dell OS Recovery II is mandatory.
    • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A+ or similar IT certification is a plus.
    *Education & Experience:

    • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
    *Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 25 lbs). xhuatnn
    • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
