    These pipelines employ a micro-services-based architecture on a cloud -deployed system (AWS Govcloud ) to maximize nation-wide system availability, scalability, data integrity, and security
    The team supports US Space Force organizations with highly-responsive cutting-edge analytic al insights which are helping change how the space domain supports the joint war fight
    We're looking for a senior data architect with extensive MBSE skills who can help us shape future analytical pipelines

    In this role you will:
    Key Responsibilities


    • Provide strategic MBSE architecture / design direction and insights to guide and standardize creation of CI/CD pipelines into templates in a fast-paced innovative environment.
    • Author and enforce standards for Source COntrol, Versioning, and GitLab/AWS/Nexus best practices across all development teams.
    • Architect our Digital Engineering data model library to serve as the data integration hub for the USSF's analytical team of teams.
    • Shape future MBSE models to represent the joint warfight in all domains ( ground, surface, air, space, and cyber) and at all levels (subsystems, platforms, capabilities, missions, and operations/campaign) .
    • Collaborate with our software architect, senior developers, operations analysts, data scientists, and other leadership to architect / design interaction of the MBSE data models w/ other critical software capabilities and components .
    • Author MBSE best practices to guide overall solution implementation with an eye for orthogonality, scalability, interoperability, configuration management (especially of MBSE and tightly-coupled components), etc.
    • Should possess a comprehensive understanding of micro-service architectures, Kubernetes deployments, and especially CloudFormation or Terraform "Infrastructure as Code".
    • Professionally interact with customers to understand their requirements and demonstrate capabilities.
    • Roll up your sleeves and support the MBSE implementation.
    • Actively participate in all agile sprint ceremonies

    Qualifications Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 10+ years of professional development experience or master's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of professional development experience.
    • Proven strategic MBSE leadership and product implementation experience .
    • Proven experience in an agile environment.
    • High familiarity with Cameo (or similar) and SysML .
    • Experience integrating MBSE principles and practice w/ a gile software development teams , with ability to develop products collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work across disciplines.
    • Ability to give and take feedback.
    • Self-start, follow-through, complete projects from start to finish.
    • Possess or be willing/able to obtain/maintain a U.S
    Government security clearance at the TS level with the p ossibility for upgrade to TS/SCI with polygraph
    You must be a US Citizen

    Security Clearance Requirements:
    Candidate must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance, but no clearance is required to start (eligibility to obtain a clearance is required)

    Nice to have:

    • SCI-eligible.
    • Space domain experience.
    • Experience using both Scrum and Kanban.
    • Experience with Simulation software

    Target salary range:
    $ 119 ,000 -$ 212 ,000

    Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
