    Description


    Description: The Public Utilities Financial Analyst I position plays a crucial role in analyzing accounting and financial records in the public utilities sector for the Kentucky Public Service Commission. If you enjoy working in a team-oriented environment that directly impacts utilities and ratepayers, this opportunity is for you!

    Responsibilities may include:
    • Analyzing financial data and accounting policies of water and sewer utilities
    • Drafting orders explaining decisions on allocations and rate design issues
    • Assisting senior analysts with billing analysis
    • Performing additional required duties

    • Background in accounting
    • Strong team player
    • Excellent time management and communication skills
    • Willingness to travel occasionally and work overtime

      Minimum Requirements:
