    JOB SUMMARY
    We are seeking a

    Program Coordinator


    to provide clinical and administrative support and oversight for policies, procedures and work flows of athletic trainers in an ambulatory primary care sports medicine clinic setting.


    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In conjunction with clinic leadership, review schedules, task assignments and allocation of manpower to meet the Health Center's productivity goals.

    Maintain liaison with all levels of administration, physicians and outside organizations to coordinate clinic/practice business, to facilitate the resolution of problems.

    Represent the clinic in meetings.

    Conduct meetings with direct reports to ensure compliance with established practices; implement new polices and keep employees abreast of current changes and standards.

    Make regular rounds with providers and clinical support staff to understand current issues in the clinic and to address problems in a timely manner.

    Proactively address items that could help optimize clinic operations.
    Direct and coordinate various personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, on-boarding and performance appraisals of clinical staff. .
    Coordinate and oversee all aspects of staff education program. This includes internal / interdepartmental continuing education offerings for ATs, CMAs, MAs, LPNs and RNs. Develop appropriate content for staff continuing education based on PCMH needs as well as ongoing JCAHO and EOC audits. Ensure patient and staff safety through ongoing education and drills. Maintain BOC (Board of Certification) Approved Provider program and continuing education offerings for all PDC athletic trainers. Prepare for and submit documentation for successful year end BOC reports and audits.
    Provide clinical support as needed based on staffing schedules and physician volume.


    JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
    Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.

    Recommend Bachelor Degree:
    Biological science/ Exercise Science/ Kinesiology
    Master's degree preferred
    Current NATABOC Certification.
    Current NCBATE Licensure (or eligible)


    JOB HOURS
    The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
